This film was one of the first projects I worked on while in School. I learned so much working with the writer and Director Montasser Khalil. This film won plenty of awards from different film festivals such as the Onrios Film Awards, Falcon International Film Festival and New York International Film Festival.

Time Trap : Indie Film Music Contest

Our protagonist is going through some ship malfunctions in space and the film had a silly vibe to it! So I went with a fantastical, Sci-Fi epic sounding Score to give a sense of clumsiness. Bombastic Horns and quick string lines make our odd looking main character seem like they know what they’re doing!

Mafia Mix up : IFMC

This short film’s score was inspired by the earlier era’s of jazz from the 20s to the 40s. I mixed in some aspects of Detective like Noir in the beginning to add some mystery. When the Mob is introduced, I added some Traditional Italian music changing the tempo and the time to get this feeling of slower tension.

The Secret Number : IFMC

I wanted to go for a thriller detective sound for this film mixed in with Sci-Fi elements. I use a cello sliding up the neck as the main sound and motif. I mixed in some synths pads and rhythms to get momentum going as the pace of the film either gets faster or slower.

I scored the last couple minutes of this film. I really wanted to support the vision of the director and writer by letting the acting and the absolute gut wrenching ending stand for itself. Focusing on a repeating a string motf to give the sense of inevitability and regret.
